We Are A High Quality Fabric Supplier For Uniforms & Blazers
We make two standard types of woollen fabric for blazers and uniforms. These are designed to meet the requirements of BS 3838:1980 for Standard hard wearing blazer fabric and extra hard wearing blazer fabric.
The Extra hard wearing blazer fabric is 700/730 gm/m and is made in 100% Pure New Wool. The fine wools used give a good appearance, handle and drape to the garment. This is also designed to give good resistance to pilling with the abrasion resistance end point in excess of 30,000 cycles.
The Standard hard wearing blazer weight is 635/665 gm/m and is also made in 100% Pure New Wool. Again the wools used give a good appearance, handle and drape to the garment. It is designed to give good resistance to pilling and the abrasion resistance end point is in excess of 20,000 cycles.
Both these fabrics can be dyed to most shades.
Both of these fabrics can also be given a Teflon® coating to give extra protection to the garment to help it cope with the rigours of school life.
